Mint Prints

A print and embroidery shop, shot the way it actually looks: loud, skilled, and busy.

The challenge

Print shops all market themselves the same way: a product mockup on a white background. Nothing about that says who does the work, how good it is, or why you would pick one shop over the next quote in your inbox.

Step 1

The approach

We shot the floor instead of the catalog. Embroidery heads running, screens pulled, the fulfillment table stacked, the owner in the middle of it. Craft and volume in the same frame, so a buyer sees capability before they ask for a price.

Step 2

How we got there

The sequence this project actually ran through.

  1. The brief

What the content has to do before a camera comes out. Which objection it answers, where it will run, and what it replaces.

  2. Pre production

Shot list, locations, cast, and a schedule built so one day produces enough to publish for months.

  3. Production day

Our crew, our gear, a run sheet. Directed on the day rather than assembled from whatever happened.

  4. Edit and delivery

Cut for the platform it lands on, formatted every way it will be used, delivered as a library rather than a batch of files.

Step 3

On the floor

The point of a shoot like this is not pretty pictures. It is proof of capacity. Every frame answers a question a buyer was going to ask anyway.

The product

Step 5

What it proves

Proof of capacity, not another mockup on white.

Step 6

Where it ran

The library runs on the site, the socials, and in sales conversations.
